“ Great tasting food that was cheap compared to the other options in Myaree. I found the Kakiage Tempura Udon to be very flavorful but felt that the Kakiage Tempura was a little thick and salty (not too much though as it still tasted superb). ”

“ came here upon friend recommendation. got the pork katsu set but am confused as to why it’s a dollar more to dine in all rice dishes than takeout (sure with soup noodles can’t exactly do that but like sides still exist at normal pricing). it sounds counterintuitive but maybe they want to be more of a takeout store and save cleaning costs? i guess the option to dine in at all is good though. while i was waiting i had some shared tonkotsu ramen. the noodles’ texture and taste felt very authentic along with the soup, big up there. weird how they only have 2 ramen options (this or miso) while udon gets every other though. perhaps to keep to traditional style or something anyway my dish took less than 8 minutes to arrive. very fast. and then you realize how absolutely large this whole set is holy hecc the rice is extremely generously portioned especially for the price ($16 takeout, $17 dine in) so maybe don’t have anything more than a medium breakfast in the morning like i did lmao (i legitimately ate all the rice i could and still couldn’t finish it), but it was slightly sticky (starchy??) and soft which i don’t exactly prefer because it clung to everything too easily and i don’t like the texture as much they cut the pork into quite large slices and also serve it at a generous portion. it is unfortunately not the best texture of meat (a bit gnarly) but they breaded it well and it tastes great with the tonkotsu sauce, though i’ve never seen anywhere else put soy sauce on the same sauce dish (whatever, good for the rice) the salad was… weird. like it wasn’t bad, don’t get me wrong i’ve had much blander and worse but the last flavor i expected to be the dressing on this is apple (if that’s even???) i did finish it though. finally the miso soup was a refreshing closer that was not too salty or artificial tasting, and easy to finish in a fell swoop. staff are nice. it was not very busy when we pulled up today (tuesday 12:30) and even less busy when we left just after 13:05. if you’re looking for ideal timing, i think best to come in 30min before 2pm so you don’t get trolled with kitchen close. also literally false advertising sunday is the 1 day they’re closed!!!!!!!! ”
